Mickoski tells farmers they have a friend in VMRO-DPMNE
Skopje, 15 October 2021 (MIA) — VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in the municipality of Karbinci, where he was promoting mayoral candidate Viktor Paunov on Friday evening, that he wanted “to address the farmers, the working people of Macedonia, the people who deserve much more respect and more support from Macedonia.”
“Don’t trust the government and their pretty words, they want to deceive you again,” Mickoski said. “They won’t change anything. Things will get better only when the government changes.”
“In VMRO-DPMNE you have a friend and someone to talk to, a partner to help you solve your problems, your troubles,” he added.
“I know exactly what you are facing,” Mickoski continued, promising his supporters more security and more care while urging them to go to the polls and “create a new future.”
He also addressed retired people.
“I seek the support from the pensioners, from those who gave their lives for a better future and now this government is disappointing them,” he said, pointing out that pensions had not increased over 52 months.
“They slashed [the pension checks] instead, so they could steal more!” he said.
“You deserve a dignified old age, some respect from the state. You are owed higher pensions, more care. You will have it too, and this is why we need changes,” Mickoski said.
VMRO-DPMNE and its coalition partners will have their final rally before the election silence in Shtip, where they will promote their candidate for mayor of Shtip, Ivan Jordanov. mr/
