Skopje, 9 October 2025 (MIA) — VMRO-DPMNE's opponents are fighting for their careers and VMRO-DPMNE is fighting to build and do more for every single person, VMRO-DPMNE leader and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Thursday evening at a campaign rally in Skopje's Municipality of Kisela Voda.

Mickoski said SDSM was unreformed, with corrupt members in its ranks and an election campaign led by their shadow leader.

"They are fighting for their home, for the comforts they have enjoyed for decades, to keep them. They are fighting to protect corruption, to protect the mafia, to protect Artan, Zechevikj, Kovachevski, Marichikj, Spasovski, Nikolovski, Bekteshi," Mickoski said, accusing them of shady deals and businesses.

"It would be best if they said, 'We are fighting for our lives'," he commented on SDSM's campaign slogan.

While SDSM was leading a smear campaign against him, Mickoski said, VMRO-DPMNE offered a platform based on specific projects planned for after the local elections. mr/
