Struga, 2 August 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski laid flowers Saturday at the monument to the two Ilindens and attended a gathering in the village of Tashmarunishta in Struga, marking 122 years since the Ilinden Uprising and 81 years since the first session of ASNOM.

Party delegations, organizations and citizens paid their respects at the monument in Tashmarunishta. 

During the Ilinden Uprising in 1903, the village of Tashmarunishta was the location of one of the fiercest battles between the Ilinden fighters and the Ottoman army. Twenty-seven fighters fell in the battle, while the village was pillaged and burned.
