Mickoski: No one in Macedonia believes that SDSM can be patriotic and have red lines

Mogila, 3 October 2025 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Mogila on Friday that the SDSM leadership has brought the opposition party under its biological minimum.

"The current SDSM leadership has brought the party under its biological minimum, below 150,000 votes, but this is their problem. I expect a catharsis in the party after these elections, with young forces emerging that will bring fresh energy so they can be a constructive opposition and we can work together based on ideas, arguments, projects and vision, not dark campaigns," said Mickoski.

The VMRO-DPMNE leader referred to SDSM's resolution on the "so-called red lines".

"No one in Macedonia believes that SDSM can be patriotic and have red lines. With the document, they are shattering the restored national and state positions that the government has achieved over the past 15 months. They also have another gift for our southern neighbor, with the SDSM leader ready to bow down without getting nothing in return, they are not interested in our people in Pirin Macedonia," said Mickoski.

He also said SDSM is continuing to protect its lackeys in the prosecution and the judiciary.

"We don't intend to support those few corrupt lackeys of SDSM and DUI in the prosecution and judiciary, who do not deserve the salaries they get. Nevertheless, SDSM did not waste a day in coming out and defending them," said Mickoski.
