Washington, 9 July 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski held a meeting Tuesday with former US Ambassador Philip Reeker in Washington, during which they discussed the challenges faced by the country and the support it needs to achieve its strategic interests.

“I used the visit to Washington to meet with the former Ambassador of the United States, Philip Reeker. We spoke about the challenges faced by Macedonia, the assistance we need to achieve our strategic interests. We also discussed the region’s potential for economic and political cooperation. We must change the reality and improve the lives of the citizens,” PM Mickoski wrote in a post on Facebook. 

The Prime Minister is heading a government delegation on an official visit to the United States, where it will participate in the NATO Summit.
