Skopje, 21 February 2025 (MIA) – On the occasion of International Mother Language Day on Friday, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski called for safeguarding and passing on Macedonian language from generation to generation saying “every sentence spoken is a testament for our culture, tradition and defiance.”
Macedonian language is not only a means of communication, it is living history, profound emotion and identity we carry in every word, Mickoski said in a Facebook post.
“Today, on International Mother Language Day, may we honor the language that shapes us, that teaches us to love, to fight and to dream,” he wrote.
