Skopje, 31 December 2023 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski has extended New Year's greetings by saying that 2024 will be a year of change.

Mickoski says the goal is to renew the country and create a future in which everyone will feel better.

"Every one of us wrote New Year's cards or letters to our heroes. In light of the year of change, I am writing this card to you, my fellow citizens, because you are my heroes. You have gone through a lot, not only this passing year, but over the last 30 years. You are Macedonia's strength. The incompetence of the authorities is startling, the problems are enormous and morals have been trampled on. Crime and corruption eat out the society. It is too much, it has never been worse. You deserve better. Let's overcome these difficult times together. It is time for the light to win over the darkness, to bring back hope, moral and smiles. I believe in you. It is natural to have some differences but we all have the same goal - renewed Macedonia. We have the strength for big success and quality to create a future in which everyone will feel better, have a higher living standard, order, moral and justice, promotion of national and state interests," says Mickoski.

Lots of work is ahead, he adds, but also a big win for all.

"Celebrate the holidays surrounded by love and good mood. Remember all those you love and think of good wishes for all those you know. I guarantee you that better times are ahead. My fellow citizens, I wish you good health and a better life, lots of health, joy and smiles to you and your loved ones," says Mickoski.
