Mickoski: Gov’t to discuss pension increase at Friday’s session

Skopje, 27 June 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski held a working meeting Thursday with the Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, and the Minister of Social Policy, Demographics and Youth, Fatmir Limani, during which they finalized the construction of the pension increase project, the Government said in a press release.
According to the Government, with the increase more than 300.000 Macedonian pensioners will receive higher pensions starting from this year.
“This election promise, which has been finalized, will be discussed at the first government session, to be held on Friday. The new Government remains committed to the fulfillment of all its promises and continues to work for the good of all citizens,” the Government said.
