The task force, he said, is preparing a protocol and by the end of the day, guidelines will be sent to schools, to principals and also to Interior Ministry members as to what steps need to be taken to ensure that schools remain open for classes.

Earlier, Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska said the bomb threats reported by schools early Friday are fake as confirmed by the police confirmed after inspecting the sites.

Also, the Interior Ministry said its competent units are taking comprehensive measures and activities following the series of reports for bombs being allegedly planted in schools across the country.

At the same time, added the press release, the level of threat is being evaluated in coordination with the security and intelligence services after an operations HQ was set up at the Ministry.
