Mickoski extends condolences to families of victims in Cetinje mass shooting

Skopje, 2 January 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims in the deadly mass shooting in Cetinje, Montenegro. 

"In these difficult moments, on behalf of the Government, and on my personal behalf, I express my deepest condolences to the families of the victims who lost their loved ones. Their pain is immeasurable, and the loss irreparable. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, as well as with all who were affected by this tragic event. We stand in solidarity with the people of Montenegro during this period of grief and distress," Mickoski said in a Facebook post. 

This tragedy, the PM notes, is a reminder of the importance of togetherness and solidarity between the people in the region, especially in times when we grapple with such tragedies that leave deep scars in society.  

He extends support to all competent institutions in Montenegro that are working with great dedication to shed light on this unfortunate event and restore peace and security in the community.

"Macedonia stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the brotherly Montenegrin people in these painful moments and remains ready to offer any support that may be needed. May all innocent victims rest in peace, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery," Mickoski said in the telegram of condolences.
