Skopje, 2September 2023 (MIA) - VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said the draft declaration on 120 years since the Ilinden Uprising and the formation of the Krushevo Republic, which SDSM has submitted to the Parliament, was an insult to the Macedonian people and the Macedonian country. 

"If you have seen it, then you know that the declaration is so poorly written that it is an insult to the Macedonian people and the Macedonian country, and in principle, when submitting such a declaration, it should be given to all parliamentary groups for suggestions. VMRO-DPMNE has its own declaration submitted to the Parliament on Goce Delchev, which was rejected by the DUI and SDS-led Government," Mickoski said in a media statement during a visit to Prilep on Saturday. 

He noted that VMRO-DPMNE had many remarks about the declaration, and would submit them if asked.

The draft declaration submitted by SDSM is on the agenda of a parliament's session scheduled for Tuesday.
