Novaci, 3 October 2025 (MIA) - Citizens will overwhelmingly support VMRO-DPMNE so that Macedonia continues to build and develop, leader Hristijan Mickoski told a rally in Novaci on Friday.

Mickoski said the campaign of political opponent SDSM has been dark, full of spins and attacks, adding "you can expect nothing from people who have nothing to say".

"I have a dilemma about their slogan about of fighting for their home. What home? The villas in Chalkidiki and Dubai, or the yachts we saw them on this summer? They had the chance to fight for the home for seven years but they devastated the home in every sense of the word, they humiliated the Macedonian people. Let's not allow this to happen again," said Mickoski.

He added that whenever SDSM was in power, historic mistakes happened.

"Go back to the interim reference up to the acceptance of the Bulgarian ultimatum. Let's not allow these people to ever be part of a Macedonian government. We can confirm this at the October 19 local elections. I call on you to go out in masses and vote, sending a message as strong as ever," noted Mickoski.

Novaci mayor candidate Stevche Stevanovski referred to the realized projects, most of which supported by the Government.

He presented the programme for the coming four years, including series of projects - irrigation systems, tourism, mini-green market - so that Novaci continues to be a municipality people want to live and work in.
