Skopje, 10 August 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said Saturday that the Customs Administration saw a record and the best result in its history with almost 12 billion denars in revenue collected in July, while the Public Revenue Office has collected 13.4 billion denars.

"We are stabilizing the country in order to start developing it as the citizens deserve. There is a difference. When all the loopholes where the people were robbed for years will be closed, when the institutions will function and when crime will become unprofitable, then the revenues in the budget will grow. Director Boban Nikolovski informed me that in the July, the Customs Administration saw a record and the best result in its history with almost 12 billion denars collected in revenue. For the same month, the Public Revenue Office headed by Elena Petrova collected 13.4 billion denars, which is also a kind of record. This money means more investments in kindergartens, schools, decent healthcare," Mickoski posted on Facebook. 

According to the Prime Minister, the conclusion can be easily drawn that this money ended up in someone's pockets over the past years. 

"The time will soon come to give an answer to this question as well," Mickoski added.
