Skopje, 4 August 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is satisfied with the opening of the new airline routes, and the results of the subsidies, according to him, are also visible in the increased number of foreign tourists in the first five months of 2025.
In response to reporters' questions after Monday's ceremony marking the start of construction of a new sports hall at the Military Academy, Mickoski pointed out that the subsidy budget has been increased to Mden 250-260 million.
"In fact, the results are also visible in the tourism sector. We see an increased number of foreign tourists by 20 percent in the first five months of this year. These are subsidies for the arrivals of those flights, and we will continue in that direction in the coming period," said Mickoski.
