Gradsko, 29 September 2025 (MIA) - Anyone who was in any way involved in the case in Kochani should face justice, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told journalists Monday. 

Asked to comment on new investigative reporting by IRL on the deadly fire at the nightclub in Kochani which claims corrupt tax inspectors were involved in the shortcomings at the nightclub but weren’t included in the prosecution’s indictment, the PM said the case is led by the Prosecutor’s Office and Chief Prosecutor Ljupcho Kocevski.

“Over the past period, you saw 12 prosecutors worked on this case. If the question is if I am satisfied with the work of the Prosecutor’s Office, my answer will be that I am not. That is precisely the reason why we backed a motion in Parliament for Kocevski to be replaced. Why SDSM and DUI did not back the motion is a different issue,” Mickoski said.
