Skopje, 26 February 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told Alsat TV on Wednesday that Ali Ahmeti was in regular communication with Grubi, adding that he would advise him to return to the country and face justice.
"I don't know when Grubi will return. As far as I heard Mexhiti, he said that Ahmeti is in regular communication with Grubi, and maybe he should give an answer on when he will return. I would like to see him return today, because the only way to answer all the questions is to be present here and give answers," Mickoski said in response to Alsat TV's question on when would Artan Grubi return to the country.
As regards announcements from a few months ago about an attempt to destabilize the country by DUI and why there are no such statements now, Mickoski said that an attempt at destabilization does not mean that they will succeed in it, adding that the country is more stable than ever before.
"An attempt at destabilization does not mean that they will succeed and that we will be an unstable country. As you can see, in nine months we have not only been a stable country, but also internationally we have achieved such friendships and such alliances that are unprecedented in independent Macedonia," said Mickoski.
On a possible cooperation with DUI, PM Mickoski stressed that he was satisfied with the cooperation with the Worth It coalition, adding that relations within the government coalition are cohesive and solid, and, he noted, the goal of the coalition is a better tomorrow for the citizens and the state.
"That is how we work and will continue to work," Mickoski pointed out.
