Skopje, 26 June 2024 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski met Wednesday with United States Ambassador Angela Aggeler. At the meeting, the two exchanged positions and opinions over ongoing political and economic issues, as well as the progress of democratic processes in the country, the Government said in a press release.

Mickoski highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries, noting that US support is key for the development and stability of the region. 

“Ambassador Aggeler affirmed the US commitment to the excellent cooperation with North Macedonia and voiced readiness to support key reforms and projects in the coming period. The meeting ended with agreement over further enhancement of bilateral relations and intensification of cooperation in various areas of mutual interest,” the press release said.
