MIA temporarily disables access for users abroad due to cyberattacks

Skopje, 5 April 2024 (MIA) – The Media Information Agency - MIA wishes to inform the public that, due to persistent cyberattacks targeting the Agency, access to our website has been temporarily disabled for users outside the country.
In response to a surge in attacks originating from several countries, MIA has had to disable access for users outside the country. We anticipate that access to the website will be reinstated across all continents fairly soon. We appreciate your understanding and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
The decision to limit access to the website is part of precautionary measures aimed at safeguarding the regular workflow of the Agency.
Over the past period, MIA has continuously faced cyberattacks originating from foreign sources, which have disrupted the normal functioning of our website for subscribers. mia/
