Skopje, 25 January 2024 (MIA) – The Media Information Agency (MIA) is publishing a reaction to Thursday’s verbal attack on a journalist from the Agency.

While carrying out her duty, the journalist was verbally attacked by defendant Goran Dukovski in the “Laskarci” case, who directed abusive words and insults at her while she was trying to receive a statement from his lawyer.

We believe that such behavior is unacceptable and warrants condemnation. We request a public apology and for the relevant institutions to take action in order to prevent such events, which degrade journalism, from occurring in the future.
