Skopje, 7 August 2023 (MIA) – Employees of the Media Information Agency (MIA) staged another 30-minute warning protest Monday in front of the Agency’s premises. For the seventh time, the journalists and media workers reiterated their demands for increased wages and their balancing with the living expenses.

The Agency’s employees stated that, based on what he told MIA in an interview on Sunday, they hope Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will keep his word and find a solution for their demands as soon as possible.

The unions assessed that the demands of their colleagues from MIA are completely legitimate and warned that the Agency holds an exceptionally important role in the country’s overall media landscape.
