MFAFT: One more family to be evacuated from Israel, citizens to refrain from travel to the Middle East

Skopje, 23 June 2025 (MIA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said Monday that one more family – a mother and three children – would be evacuated from Tel Aviv on Tuesday. The Ministry also urged citizens to refrain from traveling to the Middle East due to the seriously deteriorated security situation.

Following last week’s safe return of eight Macedonian nationals from Israel, the Ministry said four more individuals, a mother and three children, would be evacuated on Tuesday. Their seats have been secured through the Israeli Ministry of Transport as part of the organized flights used for evacuating foreign nationals from Israel. The flight is scheduled from Tel Aviv to Athens.

“As of June 23, the total number of Macedonian citizens interested in being evacuated from Israel stands at 25. However, not all have expressed readiness to do so immediately. In the coming days, more of our citizens are expected to have the opportunity to evacuate from Israel,” the Ministry said.

The Ministry said it remains in constant communication with Macedonian nationals in the country through the Embassy in Tel Aviv and is fully at their disposal until their safe evacuation.

Nationals in need of assistance can contact the Ministry’s emergency (SOS) lines at ‪+389 75 273 732 / ‪+389 75 268 736 or the country’s Embassy in Tel Aviv at +972 54 500 8566 / +972 54 967 054.
