MFA urges nationals to leave Lebanon, postpone non-essential trips to Israel amid security concerns

Skopje, 4 August 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia called on its nationals currently in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible, citing the worsening security situation in the country.
In a press release Sunday, the Ministry also urged citizens to postpone any non-essential travel to Israel, given the unpredictable security situation in the Middle East.
“Additionally, Macedonian nationals currently in Israel should follow the instructions of the national security authorities and depending on the need and the development of the security situation, depart Israel,” the Ministry said, adding that any nationals currently in Israel can get information about the situation in Israel on https://www.oref.org.il/12481-en/Pakar.aspx.
The Ministry noted that nationals can contact its 24/7 lines at +389 75 273 732 and +389 75 268 736, as well as the 24/7 line of the country’s Embassy in Tel Aviv at +972 54 926 7378 for additional information.
