Skopje, 2 November 2023 (MIA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release Thursday that five Macedonian nationals in the Gaza Strip are listed for evacuation through the Rafah crossing.

“There are a total of five Macedonian nationals in Gaza. They are all on a list to leave Gaza. Additionally, apart from them, a Palestinian national – the wife and mother of two children who have Macedonian citizenship, is on the evacuation list as well,” said the Ministry.

The Gaza border authority published a list of 596 foreign and dual nationals from 15 countries who will be allowed to leave the Gaza Strip on Thursday, including Macedonian nationals.

More than 500 people were allowed to cross the border on Wednesday, when the crossing was opened for the first time in weeks.
