Skopje, 2 January 2025 (MIA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has offered condolences after at least 12 people were killed by a gunman on a shooting rampage in Montenegro's Cetinje.

"Deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic events in Cetinje, Montenegro. We stand in solidarity with the families of the victims and the people of Montenegro during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you," the Ministry posted on X, former Twitter.

After the tragedy that took place on Wednesday, Montenegro declared three days of national mourning.

The gunman has died by suicide after killing at least 12, including two children, according to local authorities.
