Skopje, 4 June 2022 (MIA) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the arson fire that burned the entrance of the Vancho Mihajlov Bulgarian Cultural Center in Bitola. “This vandal attack is another proof of there being many actors against improving relations between North Macedonia and Bulgaria and our common European future,” the Foreign Ministry said in a press release. According to the release, it was not a coincidence that the crime was committed on the day when the two countries are resuming their dialogue toward resolving open issues standing in the way of North Macedonia’s EU accession. The authorities are making efforts to find the perpetrator, the release adds. mr/
