Media literacy days is the most important national event to raise awareness, says Trajchevski
Skopje, 28 October 2024 (MIA) – Media literacy days is the most important national event to mobilize citizens, civil organizations, educational institutions, media outlets and state institutions and to raise their awareness about the importance of media literacy, stated Zoran Trajchevski, director of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services.
Opening the 6th Media Literacy Days, which closes on November 4, Trajchevski revealed that this year’s motto, “Your Awareness is the Most Important Filter” is in line with the general theme of the Global Media and Information Literacy Week, organized by the UNESCO Media and Information Literacy Alliance.
Fifteen members of the Media Literacy Network and their supporters will organize 22 events in various venues across the nation.
