Marichikj to meet Mogherini at College of Europe
Skopje, 24 November 2022 (MIA) – Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj will hold a lecture on Thursday at the Bruges camps of the College of Europe, one of the oldest and most prestigious postgraduate academies of European studies.
The Deputy PM and Chief Negotiator with the European Union, Marichikj, will address students and young diplomats at the European Diplomatic Academy, established by the European External Action Service (EEAS), on the topic of the EU enlargement process with the Western Balkan countries, with focus on North Macedonia’s Europan integration, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.
As part of the visit to the Bruges camps of the College of Europe, Marichikj will meet with former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and now Rector of the College of Europe, Federica Mogherini.
Talks are to focus on activating cooperation between the College of Europe and the Secretariat for European Affairs, in order to strengthen administrative and institutional capacities, negotiation structures and the corpus of knowledge in relation to the process of European integration and future accession to the EU.
Marichikj’s visit to the College of Europe is part of his visit to Belgium for the bilateral screening on Chapter 24, reads the press release.
