Skopje, 22 January 2022 (MIA) – Police late on Friday arrested a man while trafficking nine migrants. The man, 23, from the village of Krushopek, was arrested on Udovo-Kriva Palanka highway in the northeastern part of the country. “The man in a car was transferring nine migrants, including five from Syria and four from India,” the Interior Ministry said Saturday. Criminal charges are due to be pressed against the smuggler, it said.
