Majority of people in Union countries agree that Russia's invasion of Ukraine is threat to EU's security

Brussels, 2 September 2023 (MIA) - In all EU countries, the majority of people agreed that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a threat to the security of the EU, with the highest percentage in Sweden (95%) and the lowest in Bulgaria (65%), according to Landgeist data based on the latest Eurobarometer.
More than a year into Russia's attack against Ukraine, citizens in all EU countries agree that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a threat to the security of the EU.
Bulgaria (63%) has the lowest percentage in the EU. Followed by Romania (69%). In all other European countries, at least 70% agreed that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a threat to the security of the EU.
In Poland and Lithuania, the vast majority of people (89%) thinks that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a threat to the security of the EU. The highest percentages can be found in the Netherlands (90%), Finland (91%), Malta (92%) and Sweden (95%).
