Macedonian national killed in traffic accident in Serbia

Skopje, 4 July 2025 (MIA) - The Macedonian Embassy in Belgrade confirmed on Friday a report about a traffic accident that claimed the life of one Macedonian national and left another seriously injured on the Novi Sad – Subotica motorway in Serbia earlier in the day.
The Embassy said it is communicating with the family of the victim in order to facilitate administrative procedures for transport to the country.
“We would like to notify you that the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia in Belgrade has received a notice of a traffic accident near Subotica that claimed the life of a Macedonian national born in 1986. Another Macedonian national was injured in the accident, he has serious injuries and has been hospitalized,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
