Debar, 26 June 2025 (MIA) -- The Macedonian associations Sonce and Ilinden took part Thursday in a festival of diversity, arts, cuisine and dialogue organized by representatives of the Greek community in Tirana, Albania.

"We exhibited Macedonian dishes from Golo Brdo and the Prespa region as well as Macedonian folk attire, handicrafts, pamphlets and postcards," Sonce president Vasil Sterjovski told MIA.

Sterjovski added that the Macedonian booth had generated great interest among attendees.

The fair was supported by the Albanian government's Committee on National Minorities.

The committee consists of representatives of all ethnic communities in Albania that are listed in the Law on National Minorities. It is chaired by Greek minority representative Konstantina Bezhani. The Macedonian minority is represented by Marjana Kostovski. mr/
