Skopje, 4 October 2025 (MIA) – Participants in the 2025 local elections are intensifying their activities. On day six of the 20-day campaign ahead of the October 19 elections, the political parties, coalitions and the independent candidates will hold rallies and meetings with voters across the country. 

The ruling VMRO-DPMNE will hold rallies to present the candidates for mayors and councillors in Tearce, Brvenica, Jegunovce, Gjorche Petrov and Kumanovo.

SDSM will hold events in Gradsko, Chashka, Veles and Sveti Nikole.

Levica’s candidates in Kichevo and Ohrid will meet with voters. The candidate for mayor of Struga, Jovana Mojsoska will be promoted in Struga at an event. The candidate for mayor of Skopje, Amar Mecinovic, and the candidate for mayor of Aerodrom Marjan Dimitriev, will also meet with voters. 

The Civic Platform "Independents Together" will hold a press conference to present the new green belt in Saraj.

The Workers' Party will also hold a promotion of candidates for mayor and councillors for the municipality of Gazi Baba.

The political party MAAK will hold meetings with voters.

The local election campaign ends on October 17 at midnight before a 24-hour elections silence on the eve of the October 19 elections.
