Skopje, 19 March 2024 (MIA) — Minister of Justice Krenar Lloga has signed the extradition requests for Sheval Muaremi and Muhamed Çajani, the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.

After being translated, the extradition requests will be forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs so it can further process them to the United Arab Emirates, the release said.

Previously, the Ministry of Interior issued an arrest warrant against Sheval Muaremi, who is suspected of several crimes as part of an international organized criminal group.

In January, criminal charges were filed against 16 people suspected of illegal production and distribution of narcotic drugs, murders and attempted murders. All of them were members of an international organized criminal group led by Muaremi (46) from the village of Grchec. mr/
