Skopje, 8 February 2024 (MIA) — Macedonian Justice Minister Krener Lloga and Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç at their meeting in Ankara on Thursday discussed the extradition of double murder suspect Ljupcho Palevski.

According to the Justice Ministry, Lloga was informed that the court procedures for Palevski had been completed and administrative procedures were currently under way.

After the required administrative procedures are completed, Palevski will be extradited to North Macedonia, the release says.

"Minister Lloga thanked Minister Tunç for their quick reaction in arresting Palevski, and said that it was a good sign for society to punish criminal offenders," the release adds. ssh/mr
