Skopje, 5 September 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Justice Krenar Lloga met Tuesday with Bosnia and Herzegovina Minister of Justice Davor Bunoza to discuss challenges in the justice sector and the European future of both countries.

Interlocutors discussed judiciary reforms, the rule of law, increasing transparency, restoring trust in the judiciary, and concluded that both countries face similar challenges, the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.

It adds that special attention was paid to digitalization of the judiciary. Minister Bunoza spoke about the CMS system which helps courts manage their work. This proves that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a better developed digitalization of the judiciary than North Macedonia.

The two ministers agreed that EU membership the only way to move forward and achieve the goals for the future of both countries and citizens.
