Lloga – Jolevski: Public Prosecutors Council seeks increased authority

Skopje, 10 May 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Justice Krenar Lloga held a working meeting Wednesday with the President of the Council of Public Prosecutors, Antonio Jolevski, during which they spoke about the current situation in the public prosecution and the judiciary.
Jolevski requested that the authority of the Council of Public Prosecutors is increased in the 2023-2027 Strategy for Reform of the Judicial Sector, so that the Council has the ability to launch a proposal for initiating a disciplinary measure, said the Ministry of Justice in a press release.
Minister Lloga said that these proposals will be reviewed during the drafting of the Strategy. At the meeting, Lloga and Jolevski also discussed improvements to the ACMIS and the Case Management System.
