Ljutkov: Trpcheski’s “Makedonissimo” concert in Rome sends a powerful message

Rome, 24 May 2025 (MIA) – Minister of Culture and Tourism, Zoran Ljutkov, part of the delegation to Italy led by President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, Saturday in Rome congratulated May 24, Ss. Cyril and Methodius Day, whom he referred to as the foundation of our literacy, culture and tradition.

“Their mission remains unfinished, and their vision needs to be continued with greater strength so that we keep reaffirming our identity, our beautiful language, and our culture and tradition,” Ljutkov said.

As part of the holiday cultural program organized by the Ministry of Culture, pianist Simon Trpcheski will give a concert titled "Makedonissimo" tonight in Rome.

"We chose the best from Macedonia, a beautiful concert known worldwide with Simon Trpcheski. It is a great symbol that we are here in Rome as Macedonians with the concert 'Makedonissimo,'" Ljutkov said.

He hoped that the concert tonight would attract many attendees and that from this event, as he said, "we will send a powerful message that all Macedonians who create art worldwide are welcome in Macedonia and will always be the leading promoters of Macedonian culture."
