Skopje, 1 September 2021 (MIA) — Fifteen Macedonian studies scholars and linguists successfully completed the 54th Summer School of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University’s International Seminar on Macedonian Language, Literature and Culture, which was entirely dedicated to the legacy of Blazhe Koneski this year and resulted in new translations of his works. Traditionally held in Ohrid, the seminar also included a panel discussion on Koneski’s place in teaching the Macedonian language, literature and culture at foreign universities. In addition to the summer school, participants attended the Struga Poetry Evenings and Velestovo Poetry Night festivals and took a course in Macedonian folk dances. mr/
