Skopje, 14 July 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jovanka Trenchevska held Friday a farewell meeting with Austrian Ambassador Georg Woutsas and the attaché at the Austrian Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection Harald Fugger, discussing North Macedonia's European integration and alignment of national legislation with the EU acquis.

Talks focused on the successful and fruitful cooperation between the Austrian Embassy and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, including the issue of foster families and social protection, the Ministry said in a press release. 

Trenchevska thanked the Ambassador for his commitment and contribution to the country in improving the quality of life of the citizens.

She also wished the Ambassador every success in his future endeavors.

Woutsas ends his mission as Austrian Ambassador to North Macedonia at the end of July.
