Skopje, 6 October 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski met with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer at the sidelines of the European Political Community meeting in Prague, discussing regional perspectives and North Macedonia’s Euro-integration process, but also challenges imposed by the global energy crisis and opportunities for their overcoming. PM Kovachevski said North Macedonia is fully prepared for the coming screening process and expects the country to join the EU by 2030, the Government said in a press release. Kovachevski and Nehammer agreed that countries share excellent bilateral relations and cooperation, discussing opportunities for their further enhancement. Kovachevski also thanked Austria for the unconditional support from a technical and financial standpoint, reads the press release.
