Skopje, 3 February 2023 (MIA) – Peace and stability in the Western Balkans is one of North Macedonia’s top foreign policy priorities, with the country being a model through its policies of dialogue and respect at home, as well as goodneighborly relations, said Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski during a phone call with U.S. State Department Counselor Derek Chollet on Friday.

In the presence of Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski, National Security Agency (NSA) Director Zarko Miloshevski and United States Ambassador Angela Aggeler, PM Kovachevski thanked the State Department for U.S.significant support in crucial times and during important processes for North Macedonia, also reaffirmed by the bilateral strategic partnership, the Government said in a press release.

Kovachevski and Chollet discussed a number of current developments, with the latter expressing full support to North Macedonia’s Euro-integration, which is significant from a national, regional and European aspect.
