Skopje, 1 July 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski spoke over the phone late Friday with Derek Chollet, Counselor of the U.S. Department of State, in the attendance of U.S. Ambassador Kate Marie Byrnes . PM Kovachevski thanked the State Department, highly appreciating the support and interest for North Macedonia in this crucial period for the country, the Government said in a press release. Kovachevski briefed Chollet on the consultations with all stakeholders in the society,, a process that was launched immediately after receiving the European proposal. The PM reaffirmed the Government’s clear commitments based on democratic values and adherence to the progressive world that has no alternative, because this is the only path leading to progress and prosperity, reads the press release.
