Kovachevski welcomes Rama with state and military honors
Skopje, 14 November 2022 (MIA) - Macedonian government delegation led by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski welcomed the Albanian government delegation led by Prime Minister Edi Rama with the highest state and military honors outside government’s building on Monday. Following the official welcome ceremony, Prime Ministers Kovachevski and Rama held tête-à-tête meeting, which was followed by a joint government session where both PMs Kovachevski and Rama gave introductory speeches. Afterwards, the government delegations of the two countries will hold a discussion, government said in a press release. Moreover, at today's session, agreements and memoranda will be signed between the ministers of the two countries, which relate to strengthening cooperation in several segments. PMs Kovachevski and Edi Rama are expected to hold a news conference after the joint government session. The Macedonian government delegation includes Artan Grubi - First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, Slavica Grkovska – Deputy PM for good governance policies, Fatmir Bytyqi – Deputy PM for Economic Affairs, Bojan Marichikj - Deputy PM for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Slavjanka Petrovska - Minister of Defence, Oliver Spasovski - Minister of Interior, Nikola Tupancheski - Minister of Justice, Fatmir Besimi - Minister of Finance, Kreshnik Bekteshi - Minister of Economy, Bekim Sali - Minister of Health, Jeton Shaqiri - Minister of Education and Science, Jovana Trenchevska - Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Risto Penov - Minister of Local Self-Government, Bisera Kostadinovska Stojchevska - Minister of Culture, Blagoj Bochvarski - Minister of Transport and Communications, Naser Nuredini - Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Admirim Aliti - Minister of Information Society and Administration, Xhemail Çupi - Minister without portfolio for diaspora, Abdylshyqyr Abedini - Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Metodija Dimovski - Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Tahir Hani - Deputy Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia.
