Skopje, 5 April 2023 (MIA) - SDSM leader and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said Wednesday the next parliamentary elections will be held in the regular slot in 2024.

"Elections will take place in 2024. At these elections, first the presidential and then the parliamentary, the SDSM-nominated candidate and the SDSM-led coalition will win, followed by the formation of a government that will bring the country into the European Union," Kovachevski told a press conference at the SDSM HQ.

He announced that SDSM would start field activities in the coming period.

"As of today, SDSM is on the field. Shoulder to shoulder with citizens, we are launching intensive activities in all populated places, every alley, house, building, neighborhood, urban community, where we belong, with the people. We will stand shoulder to shoulder with the people each and every day, for a better homeland and not because elections will take place next year," noted Kovachevski.
