Skopje, 3 May 2023 (MIA) - Tragic news from Belgrade. There are no words to compensate for the pain and sorrow of those who lost their loved ones today, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski posted on Facebook after eight children and a security guard were killed, and seven people were wounded in a school shooting in Belgrade elementary school “Vladislav Ribnikar” on Wednesday.
On behalf of the Government and on his behalf, Kovachevski expressed heartfelt and sincere condolences for the lives lost.
"Our thoughts are with the Serbian people and the families of the victims and the injured, wishing for speedy recovery," Kovachevski's post reads.
Eight children and a security guard were killed, and seven people were wounded in a school shooting in Belgrade elementary school “Vladislav Ribnikar” on Wednesday. The shooter is a 14-year-old student (K.K.) who planned the tragedy in detail one month in advance, said Serbian officials at an emergency press conference Wednesday, MIA’s Belgrade correspondent reported.
