Kovachevski: No one will be left behind in this crisis
Strumica, 9 November 2022 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, who was in Strumica on Wednesday to attend a ceremony marking the start of construction works of a social settlement, said the government is implementing policies and measures for businesses and the citizens to provide improved living conditions, security, economic growth, prosperity and development. Touring the production plant of the company MAKS, Kovachevski said that amid a difficult economic and energy crisis, well-paid jobs are promoted and conditions are created for new investments. This company, he said, for all of its 165 workers is providing continual rise in salaries thanks to the state measure for subsidizing salary contributions. The PM also praised the company for already investing in photovoltaics for its own production. While visiting the construction site for the new social settlement in Strumica, the PM said that it will house some one hundred families from the vulnerable category of citizens. "For the society's development, the government is committed to providing social security of the citizens," Kovachevski said noting that a total 853 social flats have been built or are being built in the past four years. During his working visit to Strumica, PM Kovachevski was joined by Strumica Mayor Kostadin Kostadinov.
