Kovachevski: Investing over EUR 480,000 in energy-efficiency of Gostivar hospital amid crisis
Gostivar, 15 October 2022 (MIA) – In the future, the Gostivar-based hospital "Ferid Murad" will save energy for heating and will be more energy efficient, after the reconstruction of the exterior of the building was done with half a million euros, said Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski who visited the hospital on Saturday alongside Deputy PM Fatmir Bytyqi and Health Minister Bekim Sali.   After overseeing the completed works, which began a year ago, the PM noted that the works were completed as planned, just like most of the projects that are part of the TAV program.   “The Gostivar hospital got about 8,000 square meters, a completely new energy-efficient facade and completely new PVC windows and doors. This is significant in times of energy crisis, when it is necessary to save as much as possible,” said Kovachevski.   He noted that the state will pay attention to all citizens, and no one will be left out amid the crisis.   “Projects like this one enable energy efficiency and are extremely important in times like these. This is an excellent example of smart use of state funds for the needs of citizens, brings benefits on multiple levels, and will contribute to saving electricity,” Kovachevski said.   Head of TAV airline, Metin Batak mentioned that the reconstruction of the hospital's facade is one of the 94 facilities that are part of the government projects financed by TAV Macedonia.
