Skopje, 1 November 2022 (MIA) – A duel or debate with anyone in the country, including leader of one of the opposition parties, will take place, but the energy and economic crisis cannot be dealt with in a duel or political debate, but work and cooperation, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said in response to a reporter’s question at Tuesday’s event on a project of Electricity Transmission System Operator of North Macedonia (MEPSO) over modernization of its telecommunications equipment. According to the PM, above all, it is necessary to be committed to work in the Parliament, where "all laws and bills that are in the interest of the citizens should be approved, instead of being blocked for minor political points, due to which anti-crisis measures cannot be implemented or measures on financing the liquidity of the sector.” Asked why he wouldn’t accept an interview with certain media outlets, Kovachevski said he has given interview to most TV and media outlets, wherever he was invited and where the an  appointment could be arranged. “I’ve never made a selection in terms of television appearances and there is no question that I have not answered,” said Kovachevski.
