Skopje, 4 May 2023 (MIA) — Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski in New York met with Ivana Živković, United Nations Development Program Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe, according to an official press release.

At the meeting, which was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Good Governance Slavica Grkovska, participants discussed the UNDP activities and support for North Macedonia in areas including energy, environment, social development, health, democratic management, and green financing.

PM Kovachevski, according to the release, expressed satisfaction for the guidance given by the important international organization in dealing with the energy and economic crisis.

UNDP's Živković said the support to the country would continue through projects aimed at improving the quality of life in North Macedonia as well as through support in fulfilling the strategic goals of the country. mr/
