Struga, 28 March 2023 (MIA) - Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojchevska welcomed on Tuesday at the Kafasan border crossing the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, who is paying a two-day official visit to North Macedonia at the invitation of President Stevo Pendarovski.   

Upon welcoming President Van der Bellen, Kostadinovska-Stojchevska highlighted the good relations between the two countries, also including in the area of culture, the Ministry of Culture said in a press release. 

"This official visit will be an additional impetus in strengthening friendly relations between North Macedonia and Austria," said the Minister. 

She noted she was pleased that in addition to the official program, the delegation will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Macedonian contemporary works, tradition and, of course, with significant cultural and historical monuments and sites in Ohrid and in Skopje.
